In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), effective from 25th May 2018, our Privacy Policy has been updated. Please take a moment to read this policy carefully, as it contains important information on how we handle your personal data and outlines your rights in relation to that data.

1. WHO WE ARE
We are Playbridgeshop, a registered limited company (GmbH Austria), engaged in the sale of all equipment related to the card game Bridge. Our customers include private individuals, Bridge Clubs, and wholesale clients.

DATA CONTROLLER
Playbridgeshop is the data controller of any personal information provided to us. All data is stored securely on remote servers operated by TBC a reputable web hosting provider. This information is accessible only to authorized employees of Playbridgeshop and a designated independent web administrator working on our behalf.

3. DATA COLLECTION AND CONSENT
  • We only store information voluntarily submitted by clients who register a new account.
  • In compliance with GDPR “opt-in” rules, all accounts created prior to this date have been deleted.
  • Creating a new account after this date indicates explicit consent to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions.

4. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When registering, we collect and securely store the following information:

i) Your full name

ii) Your postal address

iii) Your email address

iv) A contact phone number


v) A password

 
5. USE OF YOUR INFORMATION
The personal data listed in Section 4 is used solely for the purpose of processing your orders, including auto-filling shipping details during checkout.
We do not and will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except where strictly necessary for order fulfillment, such as:
  • Postal services (to deliver your order)
  • Payment processors (for secure transaction processing)
Note on Payments:
When placing an order online, your credit card information is not visible to Playbridgeshop. It is encrypted and securely transmitted directly to Stripe, our payment processor, in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.
Password Security:
Your password is stored securely and is not accessible to any party, including Playbridgeshop personnel.
 
6. YOUR RIGHTS
As a customer (registered or unregistered), you have the right to:
  • Request access to any personal data we hold about you
  • Receive a copy of this data within 30 days of a written request
  • Correct or update your information
  • Delete your account and personal data at any time

7. ACCOUNT DELETION
Registered customers may cancel their accounts at any time by submitting a written request to: sales@playbridgeshop.com
Upon confirmation, all associated data will be deleted from our servers.
